I hate it when my internet craps out on me.

In all fairness, the computer had it coming as much as the modem did.

Why oh why is it never able to figure out why my internet isn’t working? And then sends me to look up information on my problem online? IF I COULD, I WOULDN’T BE HAVING THE PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE WOULD I?

  1. My wife gets that stressed when she can't get online. It's usually a temporary outage. It is ironic they want you to go online for help. It's like the old days when the phone company told you that if you were having a problem, please call this number...

  2. I get it with wireless- it's a pain the butt when it goes off line. I keep telling myself the computer's too expensive to throw, but I do say a few choice bad words to it while it's going on, particularly when I have a lot to do.

  3. We upgraded our internet, and it did help, but we still have connection issues more than I would like. Of course, we do have five people.

  4. If only you could really throw things out the window. I used to have to restart the modem and then restart the computer a couple times to get the connection to work. That was a pain.

  5. I'm having less problems with Wi-Fi versus the wired ethernet modem I used to have. I hated it when I had to unplug, reset, call the company. So frustrating. I turn on my phone's hotspot for emergencies.

  6. The only trouble I've ever had was always the router. Had to replace it twice now. And I think I need faster internet now because of all the tablets and smartphones using it.

  7. It's so frustrating, isn't it? But whenever I get to the window throwing point, I remind myself that I used to live in a world where there was no internet.... Hard to imagine now.
